BUSY BEES ROOM

3 - 24 months

Our Baby Room is well equipped to care for 12 babies per day.

It is a self-sufficient room containing its own kitchenette, children's and adult toilet and sleeping area. The room is arranged into areas for promoting different aspects of the young children's learning such as physical on the climbing stage and the tables and heuristic area providing our children with the opportunities to take part in a wide range of sensory activities.

We focus on the 3 prime areas of learning:

Personal, Social & Emotional Development
Physical Development
Communication & Language
These prime areas are those most essential for your child’s healthy development and future learning.
Our room is designed to give the children a holistic experience. Resources are set out, so they can be reached by the children and are chosen to stimulate all their senses and their learning and development of the prime areas of the EYFS.

Routine

When a new child starts in our room we follow the routine that parents and babies have at home, working in partnership with parents to adapt this as the child grow. We ask parents to complete an Entry Profile form during our settling in period, along with a meeting with the room leader. This ensures we are fully informed of any particular needs your baby may have before they start at the nursery.
